I Bought an Ergo!

I lucked out and got a good deal on an used Ergo off Ebay! It's an Ergo Sport, and I managed to bid in the last minutes of the auction and get it for $67 shipped. I haven't received it yet, but when I do I will post pictures and a review. So good deals can be had on Ebay for the Ergo's but you have to watch the auctions like a hawk until you win one. It seems like people easily get into a bidding frenzy, so I find my best deals are had when I place my max bid with very little time left in the auction.

I also saw some decent deals on Ergo's on TheBabWearer Forums. You have to really act fast to get the good deals, but there are some mom's selling them for more then fair prices if you keep an active eye out on the For Sale/For Trade posts. Most of the deals are used, but sometimes you will even see a mom selling a new one because the style or color wasn't what they hoped for - and they will let it go for slightly less then new in some cases.

The best deal I found from a retail store was from an online store called HeavenlyHold.com. If you are really looking for a bargain, keep an eye on her clearance section. A couple days ago there was a in new condition return of the Galaxy Grey Ergo (retails for $110), selling for $99 shipped. At the time there was also a promo code for 10% off, bringing the price down to only $89. If I hadn't won the Ebay auction I would have jumped on this! All Ergo's from that website are shipped free, so even on the regularly priced Ergo's - if you can get a promotional discount code it will be a better deal then most other places new. I emailed in and got the 10% off code, but it was the same code I was able to find via a google search. I'm not sure how much longer it is good for, but it is still valid as of this posting. 10% Code: NEWBABY
